ERIK ESTRADA
"CHiPs"

Erik Estrada has captured the hearts of millions of fans world-wide as a result of his six year run starring as highway patrol officer Frank Poncherello in the highly successful television series, "CHiP's".

Erik had to deal with all normal difficulties of growing up, in addition to financial responsibilities at home and encounters with the world of drugs, street gangs and crime that surrounded his life. Through the influence of a family friend, Erik decided at an early age to become a New York City policeman. However, he enrolled in his high school Drama Club to "get close" to a girl he admired and landed the lead role in a play. He was hooked on acting from that time on.

Erik's first real acting break came when he starred opposite Pat Boone in the true story, "The Cross and the Switchblade". The movie is still shown every week at about 500 youth centers across the country because of its powerful anti-drug and life-changing message. Following that film, he appeared in "The New Centurions" with George C. Scott, "Airport '75", "Midway", and "Trackdown", as well as guest starring in virtually every top dramatic television series like "Hawaii Five-O", "Baretta", and "The Six Million Dollar Man".

In the late 70's early 80's, the television series "CHiP's" made him an international household name. "PEOPLE" Magazine named him one of the sexiest bachelors alive. His posters sold by the millions, making him a merchandiser's dream. His face and likeness were on Toys, lunchboxes, collector-cards, puzzles, mugs, t-shirts, towels, teen magazines and Fan Clubs etc.

During a seasonal "CHiP's" hiatus he starred and produced the NBC Movie of the week "Honey Boy" for his own production company. The movie was noted for some of the best fight scenes ever on the screen.

When "CHiP's" completed its six year run, Erik took the opportunity to return to his acting roots in New York to star in a successful limited engagement in the off-Broadway production of "True West" at the famed Cherry Lane Theater. He later returned to California to appear in a TNT movie reunion of "CHiP's".

In the year 2000, Erik was named the international 'Face' of D.A.R.E. which is a campaign against drugs. Erik is devoted to making children see that staying away from drugs is "cool". He is also a spokesperson for several child safety organizations.

In 2007, he starred in the new reality series of "Armed and Famous" produced by Emmy Award winner Tom Forman.

On April 19th, 2007 Erik Estrada joined the ranks of Hollywood's most famous stars by receiving his very own Hollywood Walk of Fame Star. These renowned sidewalk "stars" salute the celebrities who made Hollywood great. Erik would like to thank his fans for helping him reach this point in his career. Without you it wouldn't have been possible.

Off-screen he resides in the lovely Hollywood Hills with his wife, Nanette, and is the proud father of two sons, Anthony Erik and Brandon Michael-Paul, and daughter, Francesca.

2007 Grand Marshal

CORBIN BLEU
Disney's "High School Musical"

Corbin Bleu followed in his fathers footsteps and began appearing in television commercials at age two, for products such as "Life" cereal, Bounty, Hasbro, and Nabisco. It was at that time he also discovered his love for dance when he began taking jazz and ballet classes, usually the only boy in the class.

By age four he was a model with the Ford Modeling Agency in New York. He appeared in print ads for stores such as Macy's, Gap, Target, and Toys R Us, and fashion spreads in Child, Parent, and American Baby magazines, as well as having his image on toys and game packaging.

At age six Corbin appeared in his first professional theatre production off Broadway playing an abandon homeless mute in the play "Tiny Tim is Dead".

Corbin and his family moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and he quickly landed roles in television and feature films, such as "Soldier" with Kurt Russell, "Mystery Men" with Ben Stiller, William H. Macy, and Greg Kinnear, and "Galaxy Quest" with Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, and Alan Rickman. He also guest starred on such television shows as "E.R.", "Malcolm & Eddie", "Cover Me", and "The Amanda Show".

Corbin continued dancing, eventually becoming one of the first students at the prestigious Debbie Allen Dance Academy. He then attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a theatre major; this time following in his mother's footsteps who attended New York City's famed High School of Performing Arts. While in his freshman year Corbin was cast in his first lead role in the feature film "Catch That Kid".

Back in school in his sophomore year he played the lead role of Ren in the musical "Footloose" and the role of Sonny in the musical "Grease". That same year Corbin was honored with the award of Theatre Student of the Year.

In the summer of 2004 Corbin became a part of the ensemble cast for the new Discovery Kids television series "Flight 29 Down", filmed on location in Hawaii on the island of Oahu.

During the summer of 2005 Corbin was cast as Chad in the Disney Channel Original Movie "High School Musical". Being a big fan of musical theatre, Corbin was thrilled to be a part of this musical movie project in which he gets to showcase his dance skills.

Corbin Bleu still lives in Los Angeles with his Mom, Dad, and three younger sisters. In his free time he enjoys singing, playing the piano, seeing live theatre, amusement parks, and hanging with friends. He feels very blessed at this point in his life to have had such wonderful career opportunities. He looks forward to graduating from high school and then continuing on to college.

Corbin hopes to do future projects with some of his inspirational artists like Johnny Depp, Denzel Washington, and his Dad. He also would like to do shows on Broadway and record albums.

Corbin thanks his entire family, his teachers, his friends, and his fans for the support he has been given over the years.

2007 Chapter Marshals

DAVE MASON

It all started at a 5,000 watt radio station for radio personality, Dave Mason - really, WSAY in Rochester in 1966. Thanks to a snowstorm, the previous weekend jock got snowed in and his love for radio was gone; then Dave got the job.

His radio travels have taken him all over the country to such garden spots like Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Cincinnati; while returning to his hometown of Rochester three times.

Destiny struck when he went into the hospital in 1984 for an operation and met his wife - she was his nurse at the time. They hit it off so well, they got married, and 21 years later have two great kids. She also had the luxury of following Dave around the country in his career.

In 1999, a dream came true when Dave had the chance to head west to the most beautiful location in the world, San Diego, California. His first job was APD/Mornings at KJQY radio. He moved to PD/AM at Oldies KOCL. Then he was shuffled to 99.3, a Mexican signal, and became XHOCL. He has hosted "The Beatles Radio Show" on Classic Rock 101.5 KGB.

Now, he is the morning news co-host at AM 600 KOGO's "San Diego's First News". You will hear Dave on Sundays on 101.5 KGB on "The Beatles Radio Show" and several times a year co-hosting fund raisers for The San Diego Humane Society, Helen Woodward Animal Center, and Public Television.

LADONA HARVEY

LaDona Harvey still believes her daddy when he calls her, "Princess." LaDona enthusiastically and routinely crawls out of bed at 3 am, just so she can bring you the hottest, freshest news possible on AM600 KOGO. The rumor that she is fueled by Starbucks is sheer speculation on the part of jealous co-workers. The naturally energetic blond (this week) has a news "problem" she has not yet addressed in therapy. She insists she can stop the flow of information, - quote: "any time I want. I just don't want to."

A master practical joker, she has yet to be busted for the Great Clear Channel microwave stink bomb incident of 2001. That's her story, and she is sticking to it - it was popcorn.

LaDona has never been married and has no children. Should she find the right man, she insists there will be no wedding without a drive-thru Elvis and a honeymoon in Trinidad. Or any other tropical place. Or any other place. Borrego Springs would work in a pinch.

LaDona has been in radio since she was 18, and all she will say about that is, "that's a loooong time." She has since contacted plastic surgeons around Central America looking for a package deal. She is not related to Paul Harvey. She loves her job, and takes it much more seriously than she takes herself.

ESTHA TROUW

Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Estha and her family moved to Cleveland, OH when she was in 3rd grade.

In 1990 she graduated from NYU where she double majored in Broadcast Journalism and TV/Film Production. Estha began her career at KERO-TV in Bakersfield, CA and moved on to other reporting and anchoring jobs at KVIQ-TV in Eureka, CA and KSBY-TV in San Luis Obisbo, CA.

By 1995 she was promoted as the 11pm anchor at the NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh, PA.

In 1999, she moved to Fox 6 News at 10 in San Diego. Between 1998 and 2000, she co-hosted a TV show called "Real Families" with renowned author Kevin Leman. The nationally syndicated Christian program focused on issues surrounding kids, marriage, and family.

Estha is married with 3 kids, ages 13, 9, and 4. She is a home-schooling mom. Estha is also involved with charities including the Boys and Girls Club, the Escondido Children's Museum, and the North County Education Foundation.

BRIAN CHRISTIE

Brian is a familiar face to television news viewers in San Diego and around the world. For over a decade, he was a primary anchor and reporter for CNN, CNN Headline News and CNN International. An award-winning newscaster, he has anchored CNN's "The World Today," "The CNN Prime News" and "Newsnight." He has been in the anchor hot-seat for the analysis and reporting of a myriad of live, breaking stories including Hurricane Andrew, The O.J. Simpson Trial, The Persian Gulf War and many other live national and international news events. His extensive career includes many years at the helm of local newscasts at WCVB-TV Boston, WKRN-TV Nashville and KUSI-TV San Diego. He has also hosted a number of nationally syndicated news, information and talk shows.

Brian believes giving back is essential. He remains a positive force and is very much involved in the San Diego Community.

He not only hosts numerous events annually, but serves with various local organizations and committees throughout the year.

He is often associated with a number of worthy causes including: The Blue Sky Ecological Preserve in Poway, The San Diego Muscular Dystrophy Association, The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America, St. Vincent de Paul Center, San Diego and Imperial Counties American Red Cross, San Diego Teacher of The Year, Catholic Charities, California League of Middle Schools, Children's Hospital, Canines Companions, Sisters of Mercy, San Diego Youth & Community Services, The Salvation Army, Father Joe's Villages, and many others.

KEN KRAMER

Ken Kramer was still a kid, but he had secretly built a working radio station in his bedroom that broadcast for miles from his home. "My father accidentally picked up the station on the car radio. He shut the operation down, of course. But he also told me my program stunk". As the years passed, though, his Dad would become one of his biggest fans.

Ken Kramer went on to study broadcasting and filmmaking at San Diego State. He worked at the campus radio station while with a television concept for a show called "About San Diego."

"The first few were produced with an all-volunteer crew," Kramer says. "But the audience loved it. I knew this was what I wanted to do". "About San Diego" has become Kramer's signature work. Through visual and verbal storytelling, each segment takes a look at some aspect of our county's history and people; the funny, the odd, the fascinating. But Ken also serves as a reporter for NBC 7/39, bringing more than 30-years of experience in San Diego to the station's news broadcasts.

He's won 10 "Golden Mike" awards for news and documentary work, along with five Emmy awards, and dozens of plaques from the San Diego Press Club and Sigma Delta Chi, the professional journalism society. His "About San Diego" series has been honored by the Council of California History, the "Save Our Heritage Organization", and won several national awards for excellence in writing and reporting.

Kramer is the former director of News and Information Programming for KPBS Radio in San Diego. Before joining NBC 7/39, he was a reporter and talk host at KSDO Radio. It's a career his Dad has delighted in following. "Even though he lived in Pasadena, he rigged an antenna so he could watch and listen to my shows."

It's been a long time since his boyhood radio station, but he still loves the technical side of broadcasting. As an active radio operator, he's in touch with friends around the world almost every day from a Morse code station at his home.

Tori Peck
TORI PECK

Tori Peck, your Traffic Reporter is born and raised here in beautiful San Diego. A rare native! You can find Tori usually running on the beach with her black lab, Hannah or entering some crazy Triathlon race. She loves to be active!

Tori has an extensive career back ground in advertising and marketing but her true calling came to life six years ago starting in radio as a Voice Over Actor and a Traffic Reporter.

She loves San Diego and loves being able to help her fellow San Diegans get to work, school or wherever they need to go safely! KSON is where Tori calls home and she feels fortunate enough to have become the Morning Show Producer for Cliff and Company.

"I am so proud to be a part of such a great station and such a great morning show and I look forward to many fun adventures together".

Cliff Dumas
MORGAN THOMAS

Morgan has been in radio over 25 years, working in North Carolina, Florida and New York. KSON brings her to the West Coast for the very first time and she has adapted to ‘Sunny & 70’ very easily! Morgan has been hosting and co-hosting Morning Shows for over 15 years. She’s won an Addy Award for producing a TV commercial for her station in New York, won a CMA Award for Promotion of the Year in 1997 and honored with 2 CMA nominations for Broadcast Personality of the Year --one in 2003 and the other in 2006.

Morgan loves sports, especially hockey, football and Nascar racing. She frequents Padres games and Chargers games. She says her next dream is to get to the California Speedway in Fontana to see a race and to go Anaheim to see the Mighty Ducks play.

Morgan has been married to Sal for 16 years and has one daughter, Cassie who is 9.

Bill Tanner
BILL TANNER

Born of Utah monogamists and raised by genetically altered giant brine shrimp on the shores of the Great Salt Lake, Bill Tanner never could keep his mouth shut.

Tanner's favorite childhood toy was a General Electric tape recorder with one-touch operation. He would sit on his Grandmother's lap, roll tape, and ask to hear stories about "the good ole days". After Grandma would share her wisdom, little Tanner would stop the tape and say, "Uh, great, great, can you do that again, only this time let's try and keep it under 60 seconds?"

A man born for radio! However; the route to the microphone was not exactly a direct one. Tanner made stops along the way as a waiter, a carnival ride operator and even a mailroom clerk. His fate would be sealed when a doctor handed down a fateful diagnosis. Tanner was clinically allergic to real work. The cubicle was not his friend. Pure poison in fact!

Tanner has always believed that one must take at least one lasting and valuable lesson from each place you've lived and worked. From Logan he learned that it is both frightening and oddly exciting to breath air so cold that your nose hairs stick together. From his many years in Salt Lake City, he learned that even an extremely conservative community can be vibrant and alive with people from all over the globe. (Of course, it helps to slip a little something extra to any international Olympic committee member you might encounter.) A brief stay in Portland, Oregon taught him that people really gain a lot of weight when there's that little sunshine. Finally, he learned many things in Reno Nevada. First, do NOT mispronounce TANYA Tucker. Second, the cheap and easy all-you-can-eat buffet is a beautiful, beautiful gift from Heaven, and third, never EVER split a pair of tens. Ever!

After spending many years circling San Diego like a hungry predator waiting for just the right opportunity to strike, he has found his home with the "Cliff & Company" morning show on legendary KSON.

Susan Taylor
SUSAN TAYLOR

When all is said and done... when you take away the special effects and all the bells and whistles, we are storytellers, plain and simple. Telling stories that have substance, that are powerful and meaningful... that's the challenge."

Telling stories is what NBC 7/39 News Anchor Susan Taylor does for a living, and it has taken her around the world. Taylor solo anchors the 4 and co-anchors the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts with Marty Levin. But she's a seasoned reporter who has covered some of the most important world events of the past quarter century.

Taylor's work has been repeatedly honored. In Los Angeles, she received a Golden Mike and an Emmy for a documentary on teen drinking and driving. Her series on a homeless mentally ill woman was recognized with both a Golden Mike and an award from the Associated Press Radio and Television Association. In Miami, her documentary on Israel's 40th anniversary earned numerous awards.

And in San Diego, she's received Emmys for her reports on the Harmony Grove Fire and her series on a terminally ill woman in the last stages of her life.

Susan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University.

She is an avid skiier, biker, sailor and rollerblader. Taylor is married and has one child. "I've been very lucky. I have a job that I love. I live in a city that I consider paradise. You can set all kinds of goals for yourself. Some you'll achieve. Many you won't. Joy and disappointment is a part of life. And I've come to realize that the line (as cliched as it is) is true: "The real joy... is in the journey."

Please review our History for a listing of our previous Grand Marshals that will give you a glimpse of some of the iconic individuals who have served as Grand Marshal since its inception in 1947.

Walk of Fame Celebrities

ADAM RODRIGUEZ
CBS's "CSI: Miami"

Adam Rodriguez stands on the threshold of becoming a household name. He stars in the critically acclaimed "CSI: Miami," (Mondays at 10 pm), now in its sixth season. The spin-off of the hugely successful "CSI" series from CBS is the number one show around the world. Starring opposite David Caruso, Adam plays Eric Delko in the Jerry Bruckheimer produced- drama. Adam has not stopped at television however.

Born and raised in New York, Adam dreamed of a professional baseball career and had even received scholarship offers to play in college. Unfortunately injuries prevented him from realizing his baseball dreams. But all was not lost: in high school Adam had dabbled in acting, even winning an award from his theater class.

Adam realized that hard work and determination would eventually open the doors to his acting career. He began hustling his photos to casting agents and working as an extra in a myriad of movies and TV shows. He eventually landed an extra role in the motion picture Copland where he was featured in a short scene with Harvey Keitel. But it wasn't until a chance meeting with the executive producer of "NYPD Blue," that Adam decided to move to Los Angeles and search for his big break.

Within months of touching ground in LA, Adam landed a string of television roles beginning with a starring role in the Steven Bochco-produced "Brooklyn South," playing Officer Hector Villanueva. He went on to co-star in "All Souls" for UPN, and snagged a recurring guest role on WB's "Felicity." In 2002, Adam elevated to what could be called heartthrob status, when he co-starred in the final season of the cult hit "Roswell." Adam has also been seen in a recurring role on Showtime's "Resurrection Blvd." His film credits include Bohica, Crossing Paths, Thanks To Gravity, Cielito Lindo, The Imposter and King Rikki, and he even appeared in Jennifer Lopez's breakthrough video for "If You Had My Love." The sexy actor was also seen in both PEOPLE magazine's "Sexiest Man Alive" issue in 2002 as well as PEOPLE EN ESPANOL's "25 Most Beautiful" issue in 2003.

In his free time, Adam enjoys playing the guitar, along with writing music and poetry. He also enjoys golfing and if he is particularly stressed you can probably find him at the batting cages. Adam currently divides his time between Los Angeles and New York, where his family still resides.

AMY SCHLAGEL and ZOE SCHLAGEL
"Christmas in Wonderland"

Watch out! There’s a new set of twins taking Hollywood by storm. After making their feature film debuts as Jennifer Coolidge’s daughter in the hit sequel, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, Amy and Zoe Schlagel have emerged as a double force to be reckoned with.

The eight year-old twins – daughters of Patrick, a professional magician, and Linda, a bank Risk Management Analyst – were introduced to life in front of the camera after a talent agent discovered them in the Santa Barbara Parents of Multiples club. Ever since they were old enough to talk, Amy and Zoe have enjoyed “producing” their own home theatrical productions for family and friends, so the transition to TV and film was easy. Following Legally Blonde 2, the Schlagel twins have made memorable guest starring appearances on various hit primetime TV shows, including CBS’ Cold Case and Without a Trace. In addition, they have been seen in numerous commercials (Hyundai, Disney) and starred in a chilling PSA for gun control.

In April 2007, Amy and Zoe returned to the big screen as “Lissie” in the critically acclaimed theatrical release, Year of the Dog (Paramount Vantage) directed by Mike White. They starred alongside Molly Shannon, Regina King and Laura Dern in the dramatic comedy about how a secretary’s life changes in unexpected ways after her dog dies.

This holiday season, Amy and Zoe will once again entertain movie-goers will the theatrical release of Christmas in Wonderland (Nov. 9) directed by James Orr. The film co-stars Chris Kattan, Patrick Swayze and Carmen Electra in a comedy about three kids and their father who move from Los Angeles to Edmonton, Canada. While shopping at West Edmonton Mall, they find counterfeit cash and inadvertently help catch the crooks, and while also making a discovery about Santa.

Amy and Zoe Schlagel recently signed a three-picture deal with Paramount Studios.

When not working, the twins maintain excellent grades and enjoy gymnastics and swimming, and playing with their dog, “Magic.” But although they share the same adorable looks, they maintain their individuality: Amy can be found on the soccer field, while Zoe prefers the ballet studio. The Schlagel family lives in Ventura County, California.

BOBBY COLEMAN
"Must Love Dogs"

Ten year old BOBBY COLEMAN who won his first major role in "Martian Child," previously had small parts in such films as "Must Love Dogs" and "Friends With Money."

Introduced to film sets at a very early age due to older sister Holli’s acting career, Bobby made his own acting debut at the age of 6 promptly landing more than a dozen national commercials.

He has also guest starred in a such tv series as "JAG," "Medium" and "Dragnet."

Bobby is home schooled by his parents who are also his acting coaches. An extremely energetic and creative child, Bobby loves to draw and ride his bicycle. Although currently focused on his acting career, Bobby also admits he has plans to become a "singing scientist" when he grows up.

More recently Bobby had a recurring role in the NBC sci-fi series "Surface." He also starred in the original pilot for the series. As well, he recently starred in the features The Glass House 2: The Good Mother as well as Crossing Paths playing Minnie Drivers son.

He lives in Los Angeles with his mother Doris, father Bob and older sister "Holli" Holliman.

DEAN CAIN
TBS's "Ripley's Believe It or Not!"

Cain was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan to actress Sharon Thomas and U.S. Army serviceman Roger Tanaka. His parents divorced before he was born. His mother later married film director Christopher Cain, and the family moved to Malibu, California. Christopher Cain adopted Dean and his brother, musician Roger Cain. The couple later had a daughter, Dean's half-sister, actress Krisinda Cain.

At Santa Monica High School, Cain excelled in sports. When he graduated in 1984, he turned down 17 athletic scholarships to attend Princeton University, where he went on to be captain of the volleyball team and play free safety (Defensive Back) on the football team (setting the NCAA record for the most interceptions per game in a single season and most per game in a career), in addition to joining the Zeta Psi fraternity. He also dated actress Brooke Shields, who was one year ahead of him at the university. Cain graduated from Princeton in 1988 with a BA in History; the title of his senior thesis was The History and Development of the Functions of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Immediately after graduating, Cain signed on as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills, an NFL football team, but a knee injury during training camp ended his football career before it began. With little hope of returning to sports, he turned to screenwriting and then acting, shooting dozens of commercials and appearing on popular television shows like Grapevine, A Different World and Beverly Hills 90210. In 1993, Cain took on the role of Superman in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, which ran until 1997.

In 1998, Cain started the Angry Dragon Entertainment production company, which produces the new TBS Superstation television series Ripley's Believe It or Not!. He has also starred in several films, including The Broken Hearts Club (2000), Out of Time (2003) and Bailey's Billions (2004). In 2004, he portrayed Scott Peterson in the fact-based made for television movie The Perfect Husband: The Laci Peterson Story. He has also appeared in a recurring role on Las Vegas as Casey Manning. Recently Cain guest-starred in a seventh season episode of Smallville as the immortal Dr. Curtis Knox who is based upon the comic book villain Vandal Savage.

Devon Werkheiser
DEVON WERKHEISER
Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified"

Devon Werkheiser stars as Ned Bigby in Nickelodeon's "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide" where he navigates the hurdle-filled halls of TV's James K. Polk Middle School. "Ned knows a lot, and I'm picking up tips from his survival guide on first kisses, pep rallies, handling bullies, crushes and much more," says the tenth grader, who notes an affinity for his self-aware character. "We're both nice, generous guys and loyal friends. Ned has way more insight than I do, but he does slack off sometimes. I'm much better in math and science."

In addition to his role on "Ned's," Devon is currently starring in Nickelodeon's first made-for-television movie "Shredderman Rules," and voices the role of Casper in the new animated film "Casper's Scare School." Devon knew his destiny early on. Reenacting the entire "Ace Ventura Pet Detective" movie with exact dialogue and accents at age six, he exhibited a performing gene and photographic memory that prompted his parents to enroll him in the Atlanta community children's theatre/acting school, The Talent Factory. While being a leading player in the company for three years he concurrently kicked off a career in commercials.

At age 10, Devon landed the part of Mel Gibson's son in the Georgia-filmed feature "We Were Soldiers" and thrived on the experience. The following year, he and his mom headed for Hollywood during pilot season, and he was cast as John Larroquette and Lesley Ann Warren's son in the independent film/video release "Recipe for Disaster. " Soon after he landed the role of Ned Bigby in "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide." Off-camera, Devon enjoys playing one of his three guitars, jamming with friends, listening to "pretty much all kinds of music," going to the movies and playing X-Box. He's hooked on the "Harry Potter" book series and "Heroes." Devon now lives in Los Angeles but enjoys visits home to Atlanta when his schedule permits.

Jesse McCartney
JESSE MCCARTNEY
recording artist

I've never felt the need to lose control / Always held on back and played it slow / But not this time..."

With these words from the title track to his second album Right Where You Want Me, an older, wiser Jesse McCartney is most certainly back. It's been two years since the release of Beautiful Soul, the platinum-plus selling album and Top 5 single which topped the charts in Australia, Italy, the Phillippines and Taiwan and made "Jesse Mac" a household name. And in that time, the singer-songwriter and actor has seen more than his share of award shows, movie sets and sold out venues (Jesse garnered an American Music Award nomination for Best New Artist, an MTV Award nomination for Best Pop Video and three Teen Choice Awards, including Choice Male Artist, Breakout Artist and Crossover Artist, as well as 2 highly coveted Emmy Award nominations). But in between his professional obligations, McCartney also took that time to reflect on how far he'd come.

That sense of exhilaration can be heard all over Right Where You Want Me, which combines Jesse's life-long love of R&B artists like Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Lauryn Hill ("Just Go") with a newfound rock urgency. "I wanted to take my music a step forward to show some growth and maturity," he says. "It's the difference between being 15 and almost 20.

Another source of pride for Jesse was the fact that he co-wrote every track (except one), many with his guitarist and musical director Dory Lobel, as well as Adam Watts & Andy Dodd, the team behind "Beautiful Soul.

Though Jesse exhibits equal talent in his acting, whether on a TV show like "Summerland" or a feature film like the forthcoming indie flick "Keith," this need to express himself is what has always drawn Jesse to music. It's also what made writing and recording this album all the more satisfying.

All of those experiences, says Jesse, can be heard on Right Where You Want Me. "After being on the road for eight straight months, traveling the world, being inspired by different cultures and taking it all in, the songs just started flowing out of me. I became more aware of people, the world and how it works. It was a challenge and ultimately satisfying to put that to a melody."

To that end, Jesse is truly enjoying every moment of his journey, and, to his fans' delight, the self-confessed workaholic has no intention of slowing down. "This is what I want to do the rest of my life," he says. "I can't imagine anything else." In that sense, Jesse McCartney truly is right where he wants to be - here to stay.

JOHN SCHNEIDER
WB's "Smallville", "Dukes of Hazzard"

In a business known for its decidedly ephemeral nature, John Schneider has staying power. After nearly 30 years on stage, screen and studio he continues to perform regularly in all mediums.

This fall the consummate good guy will surprise audiences with his turn in F/X's acclaimed "Nip/Tuck" as porn producer, Ram Peters, who is a mystery man from Kimber's past. He will appear in six episodes. In early '08 he also co-stars in the Hallmark mini-series "Shark Swarm" opposite F. Murray Abraham and Daryl Hannah. The eco-drama is about a small town's battle with corporate America. In March, the versatile actor will appear in the new HBO series "12 Miles of Bad Road" opposite Lily Tomlin portraying an unscrupulous preacher, Reverend "Armani" Ronnie.

Schneider recently wrote, directed and starred in the action-adventure film "Collier & Company" which was released theatrically in mid '07 by his own distribution company "A Greass Roots Effort" and just released on DVD. The film about an ex-stock car driver who gets involved with an illicit side business and discovers that his wife and child are kidnapped as a result was a true labor of love. He is passionate about the art of filmmaking and was involved in every aspect of the movie. A seasoned director, he also helmed episodes of "The Dukes of Hazzard," "Smallville" and the telefilm "Mary Christmas" which aired on PAX TV.

The busy actor was a series regular for five season on the acclaimed drama "Smallville" as 'Jonathan Kent'- the father of teenage 'Clark Kent' as well as a series regular as "Daniel" the sheriff on the popular CBS television series "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman." The consummate Renaissance Man, Schneider is also an accomplished singer, guitar player and song writer. He has released 11 solo albums (four of which he co-produced with music legend Jimmy Bowen) and has performed in numerous Broadway shows such as the award-winning musical "Grand Hotel," The Will Rogers Follies," "Brigadoon," Music Man," and "Civil War." He continues to perform on stage and appeared last summer in "Mame" in the role of yet another smooth Southerner, 'Beauregard,' at the Hollywood Bowl. On the big screen, Schneider has appeared in over 15 features including "Snow Day" with Chevy Chase, Garry Marshall's "Exit to Eden" and "Eddie Macon's Run" opposite Kirk Douglas, to name a few.

Recognizing a need for better health care for children, he co-founded the Children's Miracle Network, an international non-profit organization dedicated to helping children by raising funds and awareness for 170 children's hospitals throughout North America. Each year, these hospitals treat more than 17 million children. Since its inception, the Children's Miracle Network Celebration has raised more than $3.5 billion and is the only telethon that gives 100% of the money raised directly to the beneficiary.

Schneider was born in upstate New York and began performing in local theater by the age of eight. When he was 18-years-old, he heard about a casting call for a new series called "The Dukes of Hazzard." His agent tried to dissuade him from auditioning since they were looking for actors far older and from the South but no matter, Schneider went to the audition with a six pack of beer, a torn shirt and convinced the producers he was a twenty-four year old farmer from "Snailville" GA. Not bad for an 18-year-old from Westchester county, New York! The producers were sold on the young actor and for six seasons he starred as 'Bo Duke' on the hugely popular 80's comedy-adventure series which became a part of the national zeitgeist.

To this day, Schneider has a love of cars and has an impressive collection of classic automobiles which he loves to maintain and refurbish. He likes to play poker, golf, garden and he reportedly makes a mean cappuccino!

He resides in the San Fernando Valley with his wife, Elly, their three children and two dogs.

KATHARINE MCPHEE
FOX's "American Idol"

In elementary school, sixth-grader Katharine sang Mariah Carey’s "Hero" even though she was extremely nervous to sing on stage. But she had a good role model, as she would go to the shows her mother starred in, including "Showboat" and "Man of La Mancha."

Even though her mother was a voice teacher, Katharine and her sister enrolled in dance classes instead of taking singing lessons. "My mom wanted my vocal talent to develop naturally and for me to discover my voice on my own." At 14, Katharine visited New York City with her family and saw her first musicals on Broadway: "Chicago" and "Les Miserables."

Katharine never lost the desire to perform, and received encouragement from her teachers at Notre Dame High School. After graduation, she enrolled at Boston Conservatory. Away from family and home, Katharine grew up quickly. She studied acting and dance and on breaks came home to attend the California State Summer School for the Arts.

Katharine was in her sophomore year of college when she signed with a small agency. She went out on auditions but didn’t find work until she was signed for an MTV pilot. "It didn’t sell," she says, "but all of the auditions and pounding the pavement were good experiences for me." In 2004, Katharine enrolled in the Broadway Theatre Project, a summer arts program in Tampa, Florida, headed up by Ann Reinking. Guest lecturers included Julie Andrews and Ben Vereen.

As the calendar turned over to 2005, Katharine made a New Year’s resolution to open the trades and audition for the first musical production she found. "I opened Backstage West and found an audition for ‘Annie Get Your Gun.’" She even recognized the director’s name because she had sung in his church. Then, the night before the audition, she had a change of heart and decided to go back to school instead. She called the director to let him know she wasn’t going to show up for the ensemble audition. "He told me to come in anyway, because he hadn’t found an ‘Annie’ yet. It was a real lesson in how we limit ourselves – I wasn’t even thinking about the lead." Katharine won the role and followed it with a starring role in a musical version of "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir."

By the summer of 2005, Katharine was in a workshop for a Las Vegas-bound musical featuring songs of the ’80s. "Friends who were in the show with me kept telling me I should audition for ‘American Idol.’" Katharine had watched the first two seasons of the series, and at her friends’ urging, went to the show’s website for the first time. She discovered auditions were being held in San Francisco and drove up to the Bay Area with a friend.

Maxwell Perry Cotton
MAXWELL PERRY COTTON
"Dennis The Menace" Maxwell Perry Cotton was born on May 7th, 2000 in San Diego, CA. From a very early age it was evident Maxwell had a very fun-loving and outgoing personality. At his 1st birthday party, he enjoyed mingling and conversing, particularly with the adults. To this day, Maxwell prefers adult conversation.

After frequent urging from family and friends to "get that kid into commercials", Maxwell's parents decided to seek representation for him. With the guidance and help from Camie Carpenter of Hollywood Talent Associates in La Jolla, CA, Maxwell was given the opportunity to meet with TAG at TAG Models in Los Angeles, CA and Pam Pahnke with Elegance Talent Agency in Carlsbad, CA. Both agencies agreed to represent Maxwell; TAG for the Los Angeles area, and Elegance for the San Diego area.

After countless casting calls and tireless efforts from his Mother, Maxwell finally earned his 1st job in March 2005; an industrial video for Mattel. His career has quickly and steadily risen from there.

In November 2005 Max earned his first "big" job when he was added to the national Hanes Tough Socks ad campaign. On the day of the photo shoot, Maxwell surprisingly learned he would be working with Mr. T. Max and Mr. T ended up in Wal-Mart stores nationwide for Hanes.

By this time it was evident Max had learned the "tricks" of the casting trade as he was landing nearly every job he tried for. Maxwell's parents then contacted his agent, TAG, about TV and Movie representation. TAG arranged a meeting for Maxwell with Matt Fletcher of ACME Talent & Literary in Los Angeles, CA and Maxwell's TV and Movie career was off and running!

Television and movie castings were clearly different than that of modeling castings. Max continued to land modeling work, but struggled a bit with the TV and movie castings. He was enrolled in classes with Samuel Warren & Associates in San Diego, CA. The education immediately paid off as Max soon after earned a role in the CBS Pilot "Welcome To The Jungle Gym". In addition, Max was cast for a national Jiff Peanut Butter Commercial.

The CBS Pilot was not picked up for the 2006 fall season. This became a blessing when Maxwell's career seemingly reached its pinnacle as he earned the recurring role of Cooper Whedon in the new ABC hit drama "Brothers & Sisters".

In November 2006, Maxwell's career DID reach its current pinnacle as he was named the new Dennis The Menace. He and his family were off to Montreal to shoot "A Dennis The Menace Christmas", which will be released during the 2007 holiday season by Warner Bros Home Video and Sneak Preview Entertainment. Max had a great time making friends with the cast and crew while learning the ins and outs of shooting a movie in a starring role.

Currently, Maxwell is enjoying the stability of his role with Brothers & Sisters while continuing his new friendships with his TV sister Kerris Lilla Dorsey and the "B&S Dog Pound".

Max spends his spare time playing with his brother and cousins, and is currently playing basketball for National Youth Sports. He looks forward to the continued success of B&S and anxiously awaits the release of "A Dennis The Menace Christmas"

MONÉT
recording artist

About Monét Popstar Magazine writes, "This beautiful blond force of nature is a fast-rising singer with a talent to match her looks." Monét's driving and distinctive sound combines edgy guitar riffs with a fresh pop energy. Just ask the 6000 screaming fans when she opened for Jesse McCartney at the Gibson Amphitheatre - they'll tell you - she rocks.

Monét has been a singer/musician/actress for as long as she can remember. Growing up in Los Angeles with her parents, her home was always flooded with music and the arts, making singing and acting as natural as walking and talking.

She wrote her first song at age nine, and landed starring roles in musicals like Grease, Hello Dolly and The Music Man. She quickly acquired notice from top music supervisors and program directors that have featured her on hit shows such as "The Bernie Mac Show" and "Zoey 101". When the producers of "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody" saw her open for Jesse McCartney, they immediately booked her to play Cody's "rock star crush" on the episode "What the Hey." The storyline revolves around Zack and Cody skipping school and becoming a part of Monet's video shoot. Monet states "It was awesome to be cast on 'The Suite Life..' but I was thrilled when they wanted to use the song I wrote called '2 of Them' and turn it into a video for the show." The episode wowed America - it earned her the "Young Artist Award" and remains one of the highest rated episodes to date.

Just 17, Monét has played to sold out audiences at LA's hot spots like as The Whisky, The Roxy, and the Key Club. Reviews from the Los Angeles Times and New Music Weekly have raved "Monét will give Avril and Brittney a run for their money," "New rock sensation Monet 'rocked the Roxy'"," and "word to opening act, Monét, a 15 year old who wowed parental units by strapping on her guitar and blazing Led Zeppelin's Black Dog. Girl's got rhythm." It's no wonder that she is sponsored by Daisy Rock Guitars and walked the Red Carpet at the American Music Awards this year.

Through infectious rock melodies and insightful lyrics, Monét expresses the everyday happenings of her generation. Her musical influences range from Led Zeppelin to Gwen Stefani, creating a contemporary edge combined with pure vintage rock. Her strong lyrical perspective sets her apart as one of the few who have something unique to offer.

Along with her passion for music and acting, Monét has made a solid commitment to giving back. She donates her time and talents for such charities as the Ronald McDonald House, The American Cancer Society and Children's Hospitals all over the country. This past year she received the 2007 "Care Award" to recognize her generous spirit. Monét states "it's rewarding to put energy into 'people' rather than 'things'. I just love the kids - their hearts are so pure." Judging from the feedback of this year's 'End of School' tour, the kids love her right back. She delivered a rockin show while sending a positive message to the students. A teacher states "She speaks on the student's level and proves that you can be a 'rock star' and keep up good grades. She has a sense of responsibility as a role model and that is a rare find." Academics are first and foremost for Monét, as she graduated with honors a full year early, and was proudly inducted into The National Honor Society.

Monet brings it full circle by being beautiful on the inside and out. Combine that with raw talent, drive, and genuine values, she is poised to take the world by storm with a sound that is all her own. Monét is currently in the studio recording new material and has been chosen as Disney's Incubator Artist.

Wagner went against type playing a rough and tough pimp starring opposite Lolita Davidovich and Christina Ricci in "No Vacancy". The movie is a bittersweet romantic comedy of sex, drugs and violin music set in a rundown motel in Hollywood "the morning after the night before." Ron Shelton is the executive producer. That same year, Wagner re-teamed with Shelton in the Disney film "Play It To The Bone" which co-stars Woody Harrelson and Antonio Banderas. The film centers around a true story of two boxers who journey from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in an attempt to resurrect their floundering careers.

In the same year, Wagner completed independent production on "The Kidnapping of Chris Burden", which is a dramatic story of performance artist Chris Burden, played by Wagner, who, in his heyday, had himself shot on stage. Twenty years later we find him as head of UCLA's performing arts department, kidnapped by several students. Also, he completed production on "Tiara Tango," a comedy starring Jean Smart and "Sordid Affair" which he filmed in Toronto for the German based production company, Gemini Films. Finally in 1999, Wagner traveled to Spain to film the suspense thriller titled "The Road to Santiago", in which he co-stars with Anne Archer, Anthony Quinn and Charleton Heston.

Wagner recreated his role of "Number Two," the villainous henchman to Dr. Evil, a cryogenically revived special agent who squares off against the title character, in the sequel to "Austin Powers", starring Mike Myers. While Wagner was still a young man under contract to 20th Century Fox, Darryl F. Zanuck cast him in "With a Song in My Heart. The part was perhaps a minute's duration, but in that minute, the tears pouring from Wagner's eyes as he played the role of a crippled soldier responding to the singing of Miss Hayward's Jane Froman, brought immediate reaction pouring into the studio from the public. That one-minute part established Wagner as a major star.

Spencer Tracy saw him in "Beneath the Twelve Mile Reef," and soon after asked that Wagner be given the role of his son in "Broken Lance," so impressed was he with the young man's ability. Later, scheduled to star in "The Mountain" for Paramount, Tracy requested that Wagner be loaned by 20th for an important co-starring role.
