62nd Annual Mother Goose Parade
GRANDSTAND & VIP TICKETS
There's no better way to spend a sunny San Diego day with family and friends than watching a celebration to start the holiday season. The Mother Goose Parade is sure to be a treasured memory with bright eyes and happy smiles for young and old alike.
Though there is plenty of room along the 2.0 miles of parade row to view the parade for free, the best way to enjoy the parade is to reserve prime seating. A grandstand seat assures you a premium space at the parade, unobstructed views, and a break from the standing crowds.
You will also be able to enjoy the NEW pre-parade show that will be performed in front of the grandstands only. (Seating is limited and will be based on a first-come, first-serve basis).
Grandstand seating will be located in the television viewing area on Main Street, between Selzfeld and W.D. Hall for the general public.
Special VIP tickets, with or without shuttle service, will be available for all spectators.
Blue Ribbon tickets, with or without shuttle service, with or without reserved parking, will be available for Mother Goose Parade Association members only. See Memberships. Blue Ribbon seating will be located in the middle front and center for better viewing.
Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to sit in the grandstands. However, if a child is one year of age or younger he/she may sit on an adult's lap. If not seated on an adult's lap, each child must have a ticket.
Grandstand seats are bleacher style seating set up specifically for the parade on Sunday morning. You might want to bring a cushion or blanket for extra comfort. The parade will last approximately 2 to 2 ½ hours. All Blue Ribbon seating will include a stadium type cushion for you to keep.
Restrooms will be stationed nearby for your added comfort.
Coolers will not be allowed on the grandstands due to space.
Vendors will be available for beverages and light snacks.
There are several restaurants nearby to obtain food.
Once the parade starts, no one will be allowed to sit or walk in front of the grandstands which will take up both sides of the street. Only grandstand ticket holders will be able to watch the performance of the pre-parade show up close.
Disabled Persons
There is plenty of room along parade row for persons with disabilities. However, there will be a street-level viewing area next to the grandstands that will be reserved for people with disabilities in wheelchairs. Each disabled person can be accompanied by one person only in this reserved area. Chairs will be provided for the accompanying person (while seats last). Reserved area will be charged at the regular grandstand ticket prices for each person.
