VOLUNTEER

Before you know it, the 61st Annual Mother Goose Parade spectacular will wow the crowd again along Main Street - so we need to act fast.

Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make this parade possible.

We are considered the largest single-day parade in San Diego County and one of the largest parades of its kind west of the Mississippi. Each year, the parade attracts thousands of spectators to the streets of El Cajon, California. The annual historical MOTHER GOOSE PARADE event is a wonderful opportunity for you, your group, organization, church, or business to show its dedication to San Diego County and help thrill spectators, especially our children, with the old-fashioned spirit of magic and fun that is America.

The Board Committee of the Parade has been working hard developing new ideas and enticing new elements to compliment the existing line-up. Things are moving fast - you'll see bigger and better entries coming from a variety of cities to share in the excitement that is part of the Mother Goose Parade.

This year's parade is preparing to entertain thousands of people on Sunday, November 18, 2007 (Always the Sunday before Thanksgiving), beginning at 12:15 p.m. and will be televised.

Now it is time to direct our attention to an important part of the parade operation, Parade Day! The production, operations and management staffs recognize the important parts you play. We hope you will be a part of this year's parade; sign up to

VOLUNTEER NOW!

Also, if you know of a good candidate, please have them contact us. It is vital that we build-up our volunteer database immediately!

Volunteers will be notified on "report times" and "pre-parade orientations" to assist them with their responsibility(s) that they sign-up for. (See Volunteer Information)
